I have been playing the piano for over 30 years. My past students have ranged from beginner to advanced in both English and French languages. I am a graduate of the University of Manitoba Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music with a Bachelor of Music and I have classical and jazz performance experience.
I am happy to teach composition, theory and performance to students of all ages.
This is my philosophy:
Every musician’s goals are unique and my aim is not to force each student to do the same thing. Each of my students help inform the direction of their lessons. In turn, I patiently guide and challenge my students with a variety of techniques, a vast repertoire and with various activities at and away from the piano.
